Les Lacs de Laroin

Today was a very nice day with temps around 70°F/21°C. Because my goal in the coming months is to do more hiking all over France, today I decided to jump right in to my reconditioning. I hiked ten miles to a couple of lakes in Laroin using a developed nature walk alongside the Ousse tributary. It was a perfect reintroduction to hiking. I have been sedentary for months due to the heat, so admittedly it was a bit of a challenge. But I did it…and I lost three pounds. However, my dogs are tired and I’m going to sleep well tonight! Onward and upward! Check out the photos.
