A woman I’ve known since we first met in the Portland 90s came to visit her American mother who recently moved to Pau after living in Portugal. The three of us went on a daytrip to Bayonne via the train where we walked around, hit a few shops, had a great lunch, stopped in a chocolateria, and also had local beers at a cool Basque venue. I took a smattering of photos as a tourist.
