Good day trip today. Tarbes is a nice town. Huge parks and stately buildings. When I first rolled in on le train, I walked through a gorgeous park filled with all kinds of established flora, interesting sculptures, and extremely tame birds of all types, including very friendly peacocks and pea hens, some of which were pure white. The ducks were comical and at times walked beside me as if ushering me through the park. Not only is Tarbes known for a specific type of bean cultivated there, but they also have an industry in high-tech aviation. The locals are all very pleasant too.
